A battle of bigwigs
With no clear upperhand.
Curiosity all around,
Which would “one” choose,
The ever beautiful “mind“,
Or the always satisfying “body“.
I think my temptation caved in,
Killing the curiosity.
Like all other’s from the history,
The curiosity won.
Curious colors of mind,
With colors unseen,
Shades unvisited.
A clear winner indeed.

Often, the body desires win over our rational mind ~ both are essential human need that has to be gratified. We are forever caught in an endless internal battle and we need to keep the balance.
I wish you well.

The mind allures, the body tempts
And once the body satisfies, it is the mind’s turn to crave
So guess you made the best choice

Temptation is perhaps the mother of curiosity.
Excellent poem.

The war rages within ourselves – very cleverly done, Rambler! I’m sorry it’s taken me a week to get back to you – I had family visiting for a wk!
