What would you be

Standard

If I were to give you 100$ today to spend, at the end of the day you check your pockets and find 55$ left, would you be happy that you saved 55$ or sad that you spent 45$?.

IfΒ  you were careful enough, may be, you could have saved 60 or 65.

If you were stingy, may be you could have saved 80$

If you were a little less careful, you could have saved like 40$

So with 55$ what would you feel?

  1. mine’s gonna be a simple answer — happy that i spent $45 πŸ™‚ simple logic too — i wouldn’t have spent ’em if it wasn’t making me happy. makes sense? no? okie. πŸ˜‰

  2. I would be happy anywhichever way. Most likely I wouldn’t have anything left in the pocket πŸ™‚ But if I do, I would be happy that I have some more to spend. If I don’t have anything left, I would be happy too, to know that I spent it all and can move on to the next thing that interests me.

  3. i would have got the dollars back home, converted them to rupees and spent 45 rupees and been super happy about saving the larger chunk!

    Yes, I am a miser! πŸ™‚

  4. Well; if the 100$ are meant to be spent i will not think of saving anything out of it πŸ˜€ and even if something is saved it is okay. The happiness factor will depend on what the dollar has been spent on. πŸ˜€

  5. well, usually I spend after a great deal of thought, so whatever I spent, I would be happy! πŸ™‚ At time ofcourse I do spend carelessly, but it’s very rarely and a small amount!

    • Nita..lets say over a period of time, you sit back and look at your finances, and then you see you have spent some amount of money on things you wanted, some carelessly, and finally you are in this state..what would you do πŸ™‚

  6. i would feel: ohh still $55. tht means i missed a lot of fun and sheer joy.. i could have bought things i needed or eat food i wanted to eat… silly me!!

hehe but having said this: $55 is not much money, you see πŸ˜›

  7. Yeah, I agree with Suma.
Depends on what i spent it on, either I will wish I never spent it or I will wish I spent it all.

  8. I think I would’ve been happy that i saved $55. i would probably have spent $20 on pampering myself and kept the rest aside for a rainy day!! πŸ™‚ (of course, it depends on circumstances too)

  9. absolutely fine. Given the assumption that I bought what I really wanted or needed and at the end x amount remained. 55 or 60 or 30 is not my concern!

I feel no regrets and I am happy at the end!
